The Centre for Ecological Engineering is headed by its founder director member secretary Mr. Arunayan Sharma. Mr. Arunayan Sharma is a qualified Civil Engineer with a professional management degree in Environment Management. Mr. Sharma also has master degree in Environmental & Ecological Sciences and a Master of Law (LL.M) in Environmental Law. His Professional Job Responsibilities are includes Research, documentation, awareness, conservation, protection and Management Program on Environment, Wildlife, Birds, Bio-diversity, Wetlands, Water resources, Pollution and River, Flood, Riverbank Erosion. Also livelihood, education, health, social upliftment, human rights of non privileged and Landless Flood Affected Refugees ( LFARs). He is recipient of Red & White Bravery Award in Exceptional Act of Social Courage in West Bengal, India.
Mr. Arunayan Sharma is life members of Indian Association of Hydrologists, Indian Society for Hydraulics, Indian Water Resources Society, Indian Environmental Management Association, Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Science News Association, Federation of Indian Photography and Institute of Science, Culture & Education. He is also member of Bombay Natural History Society, Oriental Bird Club, Indian Bird Conservation Network, Threatened Waterfowl Specialist Group, IUCN, and Stork, Ibis and Spoonbill Specialist Group, IUCN.
Mr. Arunayan Sharma also an amateur ornithologist and Environment & Wildlife Photographer. He is an editorial board member of Newsletter for Birdwatchers publishing form Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He is also a freelance science, environment & wildlife writer of The Statesman and member of Association for Young Journalists and Writer and Association of Young Journalists.
